What can I expect?
When retired actress Judith Bliss decides to invite a charming admirer to her country house for the weekend, she expects admiration, attention and perhaps a little applause. What she doesn't expect is that every other member of her eccentric family has invited a guest of their own.
As strangers arrive and personalities collide, the peaceful weekend quickly descends into delicious chaos. Awkward encounters, misunderstandings and razor-sharp exchanges follow as the wonderfully unconventional Bliss family proves spectacularly incapable of behaving like ordinary hosts.
Noël Coward's beloved comedy Hay Fever remains one of the finest examples of British comedy, blending sparkling dialogue with unforgettable characters and brilliantly awkward situations.
Making her highly anticipated West End debut, Christine Baranski stars alongside Richard E. Grant in a superb new production directed by Emily Burns. Full of wit, elegance and perfectly timed comedy, Hay Fever is an irresistible evening for anyone who enjoys classic theatre at its very best.
