Windsor is easy to reach by car or train from London, and travel time varies between 40 minutes and 1 hour.
You can take a direct train from Waterloo Station in London to Windsor and Eton Central Station, or ou can take a train from Paddington Station in London, change in Slough to get a connecting train to Windsor and Eton Central Station
