What can I expect?
Centre Pompidou is located in Paris between the "Les Halles" neighborhood and the Marais. In French, it is called 'Centre Georges-Pompidou' or 'Beaubourg.' A national museum featuring modern art, Centre Pompidou is an industrial creation complex with some of the best works of art.
Here you'll find works by artists such as Man Ray, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Richard Hamilton, Louise Bourgeois and many more. You can also explore the foundations of modern art, such as fauvism, cubism, surrealism, lyrical abstraction and cold abstraction.
You are also able to access all of the center's levels that are open to visitors, providing you with incredible views of Paris rooftops, Sacré Coeur Basilica, the Eiffel Tower, the Palais Garnier Opera House, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Saint-Jacques Tower, and the Conciergerie.
The museum restaurant 'Le George' is located on the top floor of Centre Pompidou and offers with it's glass ceilings an unparalleled view of the capital.
